would you consider wrapping

your car ?

I'm quite fancying having my car done in matt blue with some tastefully placed gloss blue strips for contrast.

I'll probably never do it but its just a pipe dream tbh

something like this

Not a wrap but looks awesome.

I guess the wrap is good if you feel like a colour change and some paint protection.

You have an M3 right?

Looks pretty cool [thumbup]

Nah not an M3, a 3 series with a tractor engine.

That E92 or whatever it is, is really nice though.

Do you know what an M3 is?

Wrapping would be

I really wouldn't bother. About half of our work vehicles are vinyl wrapped. It looks good from a distance but up close it's not that great, especially around door handles and other sharp edges. I doubt you would ever be happy with it as you obviously spend a lot of time looking after your car. I can take some close up pictures of them next week if you want to see though. A decent vinyl wrap will set you back about a grand without design for a Nissan Navara so probably about 800 for a 3 series.

if its done properly you should even be able to tell its been wrapped.

I think ur company have gone for cost over cosmetic.

as long as the advertisement looks good from a distance t the prospective clientele it doesn't matter what it looks like close up as long as your business gets noticed

I don't know who told you that but they are talking rubbish. We use the top wrapping company in Manchester and they are far from the cheapest. Vinyl is a material that doesn't like sharp creases, that's just physics. Got and grab a piece and have a go yourself.

We design and have wrapped about 100 vehicles for other companies this year alone (as a design agency we get a lot of requests for it) and know the pitfalls. It's even harder to get it right on a solid colour as a colourful design masks some imperfections.

But I guess you know best with all your zero experience of doing it.

P.S - this is exactly why I think you're a moron. You talk with complete authority on subjects you have no knowledge of other than your personal opinion.

you crack me up..

anyway, your company must be pretty shite because there is a chap who's had his M3 wrapped on a forum I frequent and at no point in the process was there any problems wrapping his Angular new shape M3 he's not complained once about the quality of the wrapping around the door handles etc.

I don't claim to know much about wrapping but I'd rather take advice from some one who I know than some penis who Ive come to realize spouts more **** that I could ever do in a life time

blah.
I really don't think people would have their Porsche's, SLR's, Lambo's etc wrapped if the standard was anything other than excellent.

That kind of high end wrapping is way beyond OHP's budget and not worth discussing. For the money he has available I think he would regret his decision.

Yes, we are. That's why we get so much repeat business. People feel better after being ripped off we find.

Are you just a bit dumb or do you have genuine learning difficulties? I'm going to feel really bad if it turns out I have been abusing a retarded person.
