Default Inglorious Basterds
Anyone seen this movie?

I just came back from the cinema and i gotta say..it was awesome.
Obvious tarantino movie and the ending was less serious than the rest of the movie....but overall really good.
Great acting by the Nazi Landa guy..actually great acting from most actors.

Pretty funny too at some points

9/10[thumbup]

Overrated. Too little bastards, too much uninteresting conversation. Except the opening scene, that conversation was awesome. Thank the gods for Christopher Waltz.

I wanted to see them kill some nazi's. Now I won't spoil the movie for those who haven't seen it yet, but there was faaaar too little focus on killing nazi's. Shoshanna or whatever her name was, wasn't interesting at all.

I thought it was great, the first scene was simply brilliant!

"and for, Best Supporting Actor, goes to...Christoph Waltz."

Um, it's a tarintino movie, what did you expect?

Waltz was the worst part of the movie. He was just... annoying.

I enjoyed it overall. Yes it is a dialog heavy movie. Yes a lot of it was in german and french.

The gore was a bit much but that is to be expected from Tarentino.

I loved it, the dialogue and acting are very well done. I need to see it a few more times because I know there is lots I missed the first time round.

I´d give it 6/10,
most of the movie was boring imo, especially the midsection of the film was [yawn]
I think since Pulp Fiction and Jackie Brown, Tarantino hasn´t produced anything i enjoyed or thought was really worth watching a second time.

I gotta admit it was half "inglorious basterds" and half "shosanna".
However I didn't think boring is the right word for the dialogues because they were very well acted as well as put together.

I wonder if the movie is different for US people than for people from Europe. I could understand almost all german dialogues, even the ones without subs.. and half of the french too.

Uhh.. lots of interesting conversation and good action perhaps? Both of which this movie does not supply. It doesn't even come remotely close Pulp Fiction or Reservoir dogs. This movie is about as interesting as Death Proof.

I disagree, I thought most conversations where pretty good mainly due to the good acting.

Sure at some points the conversations/scenes were getting a bit stretched and some more action would've been better, but then again it isn't a perfect movie
