Reminds me of a Corvette Stingray, or is that what it is? remember seeing it in a movie once and in the first Grand Turismo game. Loved that car.

Yes it is; 1963 sting ray, with the split window. Highly sought after corvette.

[yes] I will own one someday.

Mine would have to be slightly modified though. Aftermarket wheels and brakes, later big-block hood, and a beefed up engine with a 6-speed trans.

Kind of like this '63.

Firearm laws down here are rather strict and I haven't any real use for one.
Closest thing I have is a paintball marker.

Would I be correct in assuming the pimpmobile was based on a 327 fuellie? I think that was the correct bonnet for that engine but it's been a long time since I was enamoured of the '63s.

Nope. That's a big-block hood (bonnet) that was on '65-'67s with the 396 and 427.

Ah, was thinking 427 initially but knew they were later than '63 so went for the 327
