Default O2 Web Bolt-On help!
Hey guys, I have a Samsung Tocco Lite and I'm using a PayG o2 simcard in it, I know this phone only has 2.5G (EDGE) from what I understand, which isn't the best but it would be my first taste of mobile internet so it will do!

I saw this...it's £7.50 a month bolt on for internet, has anyone got it? Is it any good? Also I have a 10 day trip to France soon, I'm guessing it wouldn't work there free of charge due to being out of the country?

I'm also worried about the following quote by o2...

'The O2 Web Bolt On can only be used for web browsing on your phone and a fair use policy applies. But if your usage exceeds that of other users, which is normally expected to be below 200MB a month, you'll be charged standard rates for additional browsing.'

200MB sounds very low...or is that a decent amount for a mobile? Sorry for the newbie questions and thanks in advance! [thumbup]

200mb is low for iPhone 3g but downloading 200mb on wap sites over edge will be quite a lot of browsing!

I don't think the data allowance will work in France. I'm 99% sure, but ring o2 to check.

I've used it now for about 6 months on my n95, I've never tracked my usage but i'd say it was quite high as I browse for a couple of hours a day on it and I've never been warned for exceeding. Even used it as a wifi point with joikuspot
Watch out in France though as the o2 roaming fee is extortionate[thumbdown]
