Yeah but I'm a sucker when it comes to loosing money, and I would probably start out like Rastlin said with playing with their decks and getting a feel for the game before I make a decision about really getting into it. and the sucker for loosing money part back in the day I bought a Virtual Boy nuff said. (and still have it in my parents attic somewhere)
Actually what I meant was that you could buy a preconstructed deck for around $10~$13 and play with it, they are not very good decks but they give a good feel for the game, The one from Timespiral block with the Specter in it at least has a $5 rare in the box to make it somewhat worth while. Actually playing against someone else who is also using a Precon can be a lot of fun, and a good way to learn and improve. Once you have seen a bit of the cards and know what your doing drafts can be a fun way to build your collection, and play competitively at the same time.

Dunno about favourite but since UFO is mentioned I can add + there!

On the other hand; a real "[thumbdown]" on Poker/Texas Hold Em!

Wad, but it has to be played on an impromptu night out.

1. Everyone who is playing goes to the ATM and gets a balance printout.
2. Whoever has the highest available balance pays for everything for the rest of the evening.

After a rousing game of Werewolves last night, I'd hafta say it's high up on my list.

Also love Hold 'Em and Spades.

Spades. So many drunken arguments have broken out over that game. All in fun of course.
