We have no proof so far so its not really ignorant persay, more like naive and the belief that human is the ultimate creature in the universe is what's annoying..
I think it's impossible that somewhere out there another planet wasn't created that didn't end up with the correct climate and gravity for life to evolve. Whether it looks anything like us, who knows. But I'd bet my life on there being other life in the universe. There may even be other universes.

The interesting thing is that theoretically there can be even bigger stars than that. We just haven't seen one yet.

the idea that we would be invaded by giants and have to fight them off with giant transformable robot ship suddenly doesn't seem far fetch... lol!

Museum of natural history in New York: We took a Museum vacation in the city that included hotel and tickets to all the museum shows. At the planetarium there was a huge room that essentially did some of this picture with real models. Pretty cool.

Yeah naive is the word i was trying to think of at the time, but i had just woken up so my brain wasn't functioning properly yet.
