what kind of car?

check your grounds

sometimes extra cables will go to the positive as well and if when you were taking it apart it slipped of... something may be drooping nearby.

get a 12v tester for like $6 and start tracing the easiest one, since it happened at the same time, its likely related

Default Now what happened here? (car related)
So, went to Autozone, battery was dead. Replaced that and then the battery light came on. Turns out the alternator was cranking out 17v. So got the new alternator put in which fixed that issue.

Though, when we got the new battery put in, before we put in the new alternator, the

A/C doesn't work
Cig lighter doesn't work
Radio doesn't work
interior lights don't work
and I haven't tried yet but I would not be surprised if the defog doesn't work.

All this happened after changing the battery.

Though the interior dash lights as well as the blower still works.
Checked fuses under the hood and on the drivers side and all fuses looked just fine. Even checked with spares and that didn't work.

What could be wrong here? Are there more fuses under the dash somewhere? This kind of stuff pisses me off. You fix one problem only to create a even larger problem. I have a baby due anytime now and I HAVE to have that damn A/C working. Really don't want to take this pos to the mechanic and get charged up the a$$ to fix something that most likely has to be fairly simple.
