I disagree. The first one was the best. Not because of the plot, but because ALL of the cars were real for the most part. There was very little CGI involved. The 2nd one was a CGI cheesefest, third was my 2nd fav until #4 came out.

1st, 4th, 3rd, and 2nd is my preference.

Some stuff about the first one that was super cheezy. The wheelie at the end, and the floorboards dropping out of the car because too much "intake manifold pressure". However, the car sounds were sweet, especially the supra vs ferrari scene.

Half ass story line, boring and pointless races. A huge fail. [thumbdown]

Tokyo Drift was the best one they made to this day.

Too much drama, touchy-feely mushy crap with shady acting! Left wondering why in God's name I didn't wait until it hit the Wal-Mart bargain-bin... [thumbdown]

Vin Diesel has been type-cast into a corner, and they tried to add depth and emotion to his character, which was a fail...

I thought A Man Apart was pretty good.

I would agree... but look at everything else. It's kind of the same old thing every time. Had they played his role in Fast & Furious the same in both movies to which he was cast, that would be one thing; but making the switch between the two just didn't work. Diesel is an amazing actor with quite the background, it's just a shame that all people ever want to cast him as are action heroes.

Movie, exactly... Look into his pre-Hollywood days. He's not some retard whose parents bought his way into Hollywood or just looks good behind the camera, he actually has a brain!

Yeah sure dude, he´s probably a smart guy no doubt, but imo he lacks something much more needed in the Job he does.

TALENT

I'm not just talking about where he went to school... He got type-casted from the get-go in Hollywood. He wouldn't be the first or last person it's happened to, but obviously he's doing something right if people keep paying him what they do!

On the topic of Vin, did they make a third Riddick movie - to complete the trilogy?

In a recent interview he stated they're in pre-production for a third and may go on to make a fourth as well.

The original, and Tokyo Drift, were the best. I actually liked this one the least. Didn't really appeal to me.

i don't think he's been given a role that would really demonstrate much talent. maybe its the roles he chooses though.

he was in saving private ryan which was good

Yeah but he isn't what made that movie good, nor was he even essential. Anyone could have done that role and it would still be the same

I went to watch with low expectation as it shld be for this type of movie (imo).

Not too bad, altho kinda out of FnF way when the part VinDiesel investigates... not to mention... CSI'sh.. when he imagines how Letty crash [rolleyes]

I'll give 5.5/10 tomatoez for this movie.

Cheers

Default Just seen Fast and Furious. **SPOILER ALERT**
Pretty good, better than the first one with Vin Diesel but not as good as the second. There was some awesome racing and the stunts were pretty incredible! I have always wondered what real illegal racing is like? Of course it will not be like in the movie, but has anyone done it?

Oh and 7/10 from both me and my mate! [thumbup]

It was dumb and rediculous but it was entertaining. Here is what I'm a little pissed about thought, the movie is based in 2006 so why is there 2009 Subaru impreza and a 09 model cell phones?
