I remember when Codemasters were a budget brand and used to make games for the Spectrum and C64 that you could pick up for £1.99.

yea back when game devlopers could afford ferraris and didnt have ea buying them out and paying employees a crap wage with long hours.

its a pitty ocean , psygnosis etc are nolonger around :|

If Codemasters were making games for the C64, then I probably had some of their games but don't remember them. My earliest recognition/memory of Codemasters was being blown away by the (at the time) high tech graphics of Severance: Blade of Darkness. I must have played that game through 7 or 8 times. I was disappointed when I couldn't get it to run in XP. I miss chopping an orc's arm off, then beating him with it...
