The more stronger ones are used in MRI (I think) machines. Those that you use for brain scanning and stuff. These things are extremely strong in magnetic pull. But, fortunately, only across a relatively short range. |

on a related note, im recently in receipt of 200 6mm Neodymium NIB Magnet Spheres from dealextreme http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.13504
They're a lot stronger than they look, its difficult enough to seperate 2 individual ones I should have bought more, very good pastime making different puzzles with them, took me a couple of hours just to get them into a perfect cube |
