Back on topic - have you guys never heard of the expression "spending a penny" when goint to the lavatory? Goes back to the days when the stalls had coin operated locks on them that one used a penny to open.

Yeah, maybe a public toilet. But I resent having to pay to use the toilet of a company whose services I'm already paying to use. If I'm in a restaurant or on a train I don't expect to have to pay to use their toilet!
