Default Rustoleum above 200f
So I took my new downpipe off to have a wb02 welded in it and noticed that after 4 short months it had already got a little surface rust in one of the joints so I cleaned it up and hit it with some rustoleum paint then after letting it dry i relized that the can says to not use it in temps above 200f.

So now my question is what happens if it goes over 200f, will the paint bubble and flake away or do I risk fire? I have not been able to find any answers. Anyone on here know?

That. Best to see how hard it is to get off and find some high heat stuff.

I used some high heat stuff on my BBQ (marketed as BBQ paint). Was pretty cheap. Not sure of its suitability, but it may be cheaper than something made special for what you want. Worth looking into. Might save you a couple of bucks.
