I've got a Samsung Steel just now but sometimes i find the battery dying within one day when i'm texting quite a bit... just wondering if there's a phone with similar specs out there with a long battery life, i'd prefer Samsung ones but doesn't really matter as long as it's not motorola

That aint good, I dont know whats normal, but my current phone goes a good 6/7 days with a fair amount of texting (SE W880) and my previous ones probably went for the same (Nokia 7260 & SE W950i).

I can definitely recommend Sony Eriksson to you, the phones are solid, good menus, good builds, fast response times (I hate laggy menus..) with no problems. Theyre what the Nokias used to be 10 years ago.
