They've been raving on and on about this snow for a while now! Im somewhat glad it actually happened. Usually its like a thin coating, which is enough to cause havoc in London!

Snowing here atm. Everywhere is covered. Lucikly I don't have to go out tomorrow, but I've booked to see the Babylon: Myth & Reality exhibition at the BM on Tuesday so I don't know how I'll get on getting there then. If I don't go I won't loose much money because I got a free ticket because I'm a member.

Just looked at the metoffice warnings:

"Although marked variations will occur from place to place, 5-10cm (of snow) is likely in many areas with as much as 20-30cm possible"

I get all excited when I see even just a small smattering of snow in the air and tonight was no exception. I just had to go out in it and sample the delights of the white flaky goodness! [thumbup]

Just finished watching the superbowl so I thought I'd check on the snow ... Bluming heck! Well over a foot deep now and still coming down nicely makes me smile!

Weather has just come on the BBC ... Seem to be in a tiny strip down the south east where it's snowing and is going t keep snowing through Monday

Not sure I'll make it into Uni tomorrow hehe

yes, life does exist outside the USA.

this country isn't built for snow and the roads round here dont help. it's bad.

I wish the roads had been gritted, I can't get to work due to the extra fall through the night. There's a skeleton service from Guildford train station and the M25 is shut.

The missus is ecstatic, she's a teacher so gets the day off school. The amount of snow on the ground wouldn't have brought everything to a standstill back up north, but I guess it's a bit more of a rare event in the south east.
