Last night 2 min from my house my tire blew, so i rode the rest on the rim just to get home.
carefree, unworried that i was i just said, meh whatever ill take the other car to work in the morning.
So......
Aparently not driving a car for 2 months has made it spite me, and now my backup cars clutch is dead?
clutch is just to the floor i popped it up, but it just went to the floor again.
HOW does a clutch die if you dont use it...

Clutches just don't die like that. Check to make sure the push rod on the back of the clutch pedal hasn't popped out of it's hole.

when i had a clutch pedal with no life in it (it would just drop to the floor and not spring back up) it was because a pipe in the clutch control system had broke and all the pressure in the system was lost. it was a relatively cheap fix.

someone mentioned it could be out of clutch fluid also... i was just hurried so didnt really check everything.
I'll check the rod when i get home also.

Sounds like my car. I left it sit for about a week while I was on vacation. It was freezing cold, but the car was garaged. That same day I started having issues, and its apparently a cracked gear tooth. Cold weather + sitting + tranny + manual = WTF?

Wow, that is so true. It's release day for my company, and I've just been asked to "volunteer" to stay late tonight. From previous experience this means staying in the office doing testing till the early hours. How crap is that

So i figured ill just do a full swap tire to tire, all of the sitting cars tires on the car that i primarily drive.
2 hours into it and i just get 2 1/2 tires off, and 13 lugnuts undone, every single one is stuck on tighter then ever. go figure... mmmk
so i spray alittle wd40 to losen them up , still no luck.

go figure, no go on the clutch idea not sure whats going on, i thought the tire swap would be the fastest and easiest way to get a car going. but no.

Ok well got a breaker bar, it was about about 4 feet, we will call this "persuasion".
Put it on my lug wrench and finished everything in about 30-45min. 8 tires swapped and done.
Shouldnt of even wasted 2 hours yesterday that was just dumb. guess i just got in the "I gotta try" mentality.

but man was it cold today. i mean i live in Florida... so i probably shouldnt be complaining. but it was about 35degress with windchill which just wouldnt stop blowing. and for some reason i still managed to work up a nice sweat. so im hoping i dont get sick now. gah

I think ill just refer to mondays as, caterday and hope this never happens again.

But seriously anyone else just feel like they get nothing but bad luck constantly? like always getting pooped on... why me?? wtf did i do.
Wheres my good news at, seems like its been atleast 8 months since something remotly good and made me happy happened to me.
