Neighbors mistook the gunshots heard from the boys' "PlayStation game" as actual gunfire and reciprocated with emergency calls to the police authorities. The volume was turned up so loud that the boys could not initially hear the police calling out to them via megaphone. Luckily, no one got hurt when the boys were finally detained. The cops searched the apartment, found no weapons and came to the conclusion that the noises were coming from the game playing on the television. These guys must've had one kick ass sound system!! [rofl]

Long time ago i had a soldier of fortune ( 1st one ) game blaring crazy loud on my 5.1 setup.And a cop came to my door with a report of violence being reported, i invited him in and explained what they may have heard and showed him the game and he said "wow what a neat looking game"He was pretty cool about it,man those nieghbors were big pussies now that i think back.

I once had the cops called on me caus of Mario Kart... I was getting so frustrated and yelling so loud that the neighbors thought it was a domestic and the police were called.

Seriously, what are you talking about? [cursing] The police get a call about a disturbance and they go out to investigate because that is what they are paid to do. How in any way does that make them dumb? If anything, it's the people that reported the disturbance that are dumb or possibly the kids for having the volume up that loud; the cops are just doing their job.

Exactly. I can't blame the cops. I would blame them if they tried to take someone to jail over it instead of issuing a noise ticket or something.

cops wern't dumb, and either were neighbours really. if i was being shot at in my own home i wouldnt want my neighbours to just think "of he's playing COD4 again".
