Well I am with tmobile who were great at the time when i needed unlimited internet. However they have now become slow, apply horrible jpeg compression and poor coverage. So i am looking to move on to a new provider, quite possibly vodafone even though they are relatively expensive or even 02.

I have a Omnia that I bought out of contract and want to get the best from it. Although I am considering chopping it in for a Xperia as I really need a decent and usable keyboard!

I've had vodafone and they use the same picture compression you speak of. Sometimes speeds were great, other times no movement what-so-ever.
Now a happy camper with o2. 3G coverage not been in some of the places I did have 3G with voda, but I don't get the random connection issues where things come to a grinding halt.
As a bonus - o2 and voda both support EDGE data transmission as well, so even in areas without 3g speeds are reasonable.

I've got the Omnia and I'm on contract with Vodafone.
Its ok, but to be honest I think the coverage and speed is faster on O2.

3g with O2 is fast as lightning for me, not available in a lot of areas still though.
