The Sun obviously didn't have any decent stories to publish (do they ever) so they decided to just make one up about some YouTube video that is older than the hills.

That is definitely from at least a year ago but they didn't mention that the way the kid got a 360 was a gaming website buying him one and telling him none of his family was allowed to use it.

The Sun is pretty much the least trustworthy news source online.

I did not get much for Christmas if anything, well nothing from my dad and my mums poor so I did not expect much or anything really, just some small things, think about all those kids in Africa or wherever who don't get nothing, it's just life, but it this way I think Christmas is overrated and we don't celebrate it, its just like another day, some of you guys are really lucky tbh,

I understand your point, I just think you might have overlooked the point everyone else is looking at, being they hyped up their child with a fake gift and then laughed in his face at his disappointment.

I ROFL'd the first time I saw this. IIRC the story is that he peeked at his gifts, so they played a trick on him. I'd do the same if I was a parent. Disobedience needs to be punished.

Even if it wasn't true, and he didn't peek, and he didn't get the xbox a couple weeks later, I still don't think this is anything to get worked up about. Life happens. At least they're starting early in preparing him for the real world.

Edit: Although it is a pretty bad idea to piss off the person who picks your nursing home.

Yep and he is a child like most of us all were, also unable to defend in such a situation. Chidren a vulnareble.

that is really sadistic. the person filming and people involved are a complete disgrace. If he was in high school or something....maybe. but the kid is 8 years old. That's basically mental abuse.

Agreed, it's a bit hard to play a joke like that on such a young kid, especially on a day when you're meant to be happy. So that kid would have been grotty all week before he got his xbox. They could have at least given it to him the same day. Who the hell didn't try to have a peak at the presents as a kid.
