This was very impressive. Amazing how even though it used mixed 2d shots of people/cities it still manages to captivate the viewer more than most the crap that comes out of hollywood.

Nice, if he can do this with off the shelf software how come certain Hollywood movies cant even with a "low" budget ? Look at Starship Troopers 3 for example :P

This stuff is cool to me because I remember when the thought of people doing this level of special effects at home was laughable. Now talented people all over the web are doing things that rival Hollywood, even doing new episodes of old sci-fi shows.... or even better, creating something unique like this.
