They were too organized for flares.

Has anyone seen the "trace cases" show on the History channel about UFO's? I was very impressed to see them list the facts about human encounters with alien crafts without having to resort to "two sided" arguments to basically artificially debunk what had happened. The "CSI" elements that were used to test the soil around sightings were very intriguing, and the results scientifically proved that UFO's actually landed. Pretty neat stuff [yes]

I saw this on TV a while ago.

They were not flares, flares don't suddenly blink into existence in the same fashion, the lights don't move in a downward motion either like you would expect from flares.

Definitely not flares, imo.

Why does it always seem that it's only Americans who spot and film UFO's?

Just a question...[help] Do alien beings just have a knack for heading to the US?

I saw something similar though not exactly the same.
Rather then being in a triangle shape, it was more like a football shape. That is to say, kinda like 2 curved triangles put end to end

Must have been around '98 or so, maybe even as early as '97.
I was in a car with 3 other people as well, I was certainly not the only one to see it.

Other then the overall shape, it sounds the same. Yellow-white lights, very large, and moving very slowly. We drove along side it for probably 30 seconds before we lost it behind trees.
flying saucer restaurant, desert of south-west Idaho, on the evening of 20 july, 1967:

the restaurant is lid up by two lightbowls flying at about 300 metres
they separate into four lightbowls in the shape of a y
everyone in the restaurant knows what this means

Something similar happened not too long ago... thousands of witnesses... Im trying to remember the city so far all Ive found is a sighting at a Chicago airport by pilots, groundworkers and the like.

Look up UFO sightings in Mexico City. Seriously! The aliens are returning to their Aztec and Mayan worshippers. They are god's after all. Quetzcotl is a good example of what happens when you do too many drugs AND aliens visit you.

What you don't see in that picture is that there is a mountain range, this causes the air currents to have a upward draft that keeps the flares in the air for a longer period of time.

When the lights go out one at a time in order as if they are being switched off they are in reality dropping behind the mountains.
It was all on the TV program that investigated it. They overlayed the picture taken at night with one taken during the day and then simulated the lights moving slowly downwards on it and the lights vanished as they dropped behind the mountain.

Default The Phoenix lights case,... -UFO-

For those that remember the Phoenix lights case,
I just stumbled across this website again
click me

Kinda made me look at the "evidence",
On one side you have the theory that they were just flares and on the other side you have witness testimonies that all pretty go towards the presence of a giant triangular ship/plane.
I´m kinda interested though what the site has to offer, although i do kinda think it´s a hoax.

When I was a child I was with a few friends and we all saw something that looked like a huge cheese wedge with lights on it.

Would have been before 1997 though. I'm thinking 95 or 94.

The best thing I could compare it to would be the ships from starwars.

I figure its probably just some military test plane or something.

This would enable an estimate of the craft being a whopping one mile or more in length! The color of its lights were described as "blue-white," to "yellow-white," to "amber." Again, these differences of description do not necessitate there being more than one object. During the crafts fast moving period, it was estimated to be moving at Mach 2-3. As it slowed down as if posing to be filmed, the speed dropped to an estimated 10-15 MPH. At one point over Sky Harbor, it reportedly hovered for several minutes. That's EXACTLY the same as what I saw. The lights were amber colored. It was in Goshen, IN. And it was slow moving and hovered for a while. After watching it for a while we went back to playing and then it was just gone.

My question is: If aliens didn't want to be noticed (assume they don't or they would have contacted us by now) WHY THE HELL would they put bright lights on the bottom of their space crafts and fly over populated areas?!

Well good question with a multiple variety of answers,
for example:
What if the lights are some part of the propulsion system ?
What if they just don´t care ?
What if that´s just the way "they" build their stuff ?
What if they don´t see any kind of threat coming from us ?
What if their just plain stupid ?

lol i could go on and on,..
