Yeah the movie got rave reviews across the board, even parents and older people in my family are loving it, and me my girlfreind, and freind loved it. Thats a pretty broad spectrum, so you seem to be the one bad apple that for some reason didnt like it. Maybe you saw it in a bad mood? Try seeing it again at home on your couch with a beer and some freinds.

Maybe he can't relate to it? I know I have trouble enjoying movies like this because I can't relate to them, that is I never did any of the things the kids in the movie did.

But when a film is good it's just good.

I thought the movie was kinda funny, but yeah there were too many penis jokes and swearing going on...

The movie I thought was absolutely hilarious was "Hot Rod" and I know that many people will not agree with me, but heck the humor was so random I frigging loved it.

I thought it was hilarious.

This movie is supposed to portray how highschool kids really are.

Highschool kids probably swear more than any other age group, and as more crude and nasty than any other age group as well. Atleast normal ones.

Superbad was probably in my top 5 of most hilarious movies of all time. I mean, who hasn't done stupid, hilarious **** in highschool? Pretty much, yeah. I was 12th in my class out of ~700. Studied, played video games, went to friends' houses and played video games. That's as crazy as I got. Sure I was accustomed to the swearing and penis innuendo, but meh, that's old now.
