OK - I watched the 30 Days of Night trailer which can be viewed here:

There is a piece of music played in the trailer.
I went to see the film and I don't believe that the piece is from the score as I don't remember hearing it at any point.
I've also played each of the tracks from the 30 Days of Night soundtrack, well the 30 second "bite" of each track via iTunes.

If you watch the trailer, the music starts just after the point where we see the record spinning in close up, we see the vampires fingernail make contact with the record and we here a very brief blast of static.
The trailer then continues and the music is then being played - quite heavy piano and then drums and sounds like the kind of music that would have been at home in either of the 28 Days/Weeks later films.

If anyone can tell me what that music is I'd really appreciate it as I'd like to listen to the whole track.
