Default Grindhouse - Planet Terror

Im shocked, I thought there would be a few threads on this movie, but nothing substantial! Anyone seen it? Personally im a massive fan of Rose McGowan, but it was nice to see a couple of other faces in this movie. Wasnt expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised!

Planet Terror wasn't bad I would give it a 6/10. A decent movie with some funny parts but nothing too spectacular

Death Proof however was one of the biggest piles of garbage I have ever seen

It finally came out in Britain? Last I heard they had delayed it's release indefinitely.

Planet Terror was great, Deathproof was ok, not too bad. Bit to much talking for my taste. That one girl in Deathproof is gorgous. Cant thing of her name.

Not seen it so can't comment really apart from I'm real bored with these half dressed mingers with a machine gun films, might be one I'll catch on Box Office but not a cinema or even rental for me.

I thought Planet Terror was junk. I completely understood the style Tarrentino was going for, but I just thought it was junk. The film grain, while I understood why it was there, just pissed me off.

The only parts I liked were, "I'm going to eat your brains and absorb your knowlege" and the part with the little kid in the car with the gun.

I haven't watched Deathproof yet.

If you regard the film as two separate movies and have only yet seen one of them, then you have totally missed the point of it and cannot even begin to grasp what Tarantino and Rodriguez wanted to do in the first place.

Missed them at the theater but I'm getting them on disk. People are weird about movies on this board - they look for way too much instead of just enjoying it versus picking it apart.

Back when i first heard about Grindhouse i was looking forward to seeing it in its entirity at the cinema. Then of course the uk release was delayed before finally we get the (apparently worse) half of the experience. I was hoping i would get to buy the entire thing on DVD or blu-ray but from what i hear it will never be seen in its entirity now.

Well everyone has their own opinion, Death Proof for like an hour all I get is some girly crap talk on a table...the car chase was good and what they did to him was nice camera but that is far from calling something like that a masterpiece [rolleyes]

Enjoyed Planet Terror, hated Death Proof.

I'd like to see "Werewolf Women of the SS" as well - anyone know when it'll turn up?
