They must be, otherwise i can't possibly imagine why my package (which has already taken its sweet time to get here) has been rescheduled (again) for delivery on the 16th...

Having eagerly awaited UPS packages for years, you start learning terminology. So, when my package was updated with "DESTINATION SCAN", i know that means its on a truck. But, i look up, and then see this: "Rescheduled Delivery: 10/16/2007". (initially, it was set to arrive Friday, but they of course missed that. It was later marked for the 15th; this update came just today).

So, now I am just hoping that UPS isn't a bunch of pricks, and wait until Tuesday to deliver the package, despite it being on the truck (i have heard many a story like this....). Anyone want to take bets? [no]

Well, i know why it was delayed the first time (shipper dropped it off a day late), and that is fine. But up till a few hours ago, it said rescheduled for tommorow. Only after the destination scan did it change, which makes no sense. Destination scan means that it is here, and either on the truck, or about to be. So i cant see why it would get delayed even more..

And of course, since UPS has no customer service (*sigh*) i can't even find out until tomorrow...

Well, i guess for now then, i will chalk it up to UPS's system being total crap (big surprise there), and just hope that it gets delivered tomorrow like it really should be. God, I wish i could have used something other than UPS for this...
