As neither the Xbox or PS3 supports 16:10 resolutions properly you might be better off forking out for a 24" that can handle a pixel mapped 1080p image.

BenQ FP241W might be the cheapest at £440, haven't really looked though.

Is it not good idea to get a 22inch hdmi monitor? i only want to spend £250 at max.So when i plus a ps3 ill be able to a really nice picture,a normal tv is crap for ps3 and 360,and since i want to get a new monitor i thought i could get a hdmi one for my pc and console, also will hd be ok or does it have to be hdmi? whats the difference? A 22in LCD will be using 1680x1050 for a native resolution. I don't believe either the 360 or the PS3 support this resolution at all. You will most likely have to use 720P upscaled, which will degrade the picture quite a bit.

what about this monitor... http://www.samsung.com/uk/products/m...22crasbedc.asp
it says supporting 1080p.That means i can use 1080p right? even though its 22inch and res 1680x1050?
