Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has sensationally left Stamford Bridge, according to BBC Radio 5live football correspondent Jonathan Legard. The news comes just 24 hours after the disappointing Champions League draw against Rosenborg. Legard understands that Mourinho has texted senior players, including skipper John Terry, with the news of his departure from Stamford Bridge. There has been no official word so far from the Premiership club. More to follow. Nothing confirmed yet, but BBC have it on their front page, they must be pretty sure of the news. Yowza.....[surrender] |

Mental. I'm no Chelsea fan, but I did like the guy, and you can't fault his credentials as a manager. Be interesting to see who they bring in as a replacement.... I'd like to put Graeme Souness's name forward. |

Eurgh - Im not a Chelsea fan..in fact far from it - im absolutely gutted that hes leaving. He made the Premiership so much more interesting, imo he played a big role in improving the image of our football to push it above the spanish and italian leagues.
Absolutely gutted. Though I do agree with Abromavich if he said he didnt like the way Chelsea play - zzZZz no beauty in their game at all. |

Sad to see him go, but bringing in Ballack and Sheva wasn't the best plan(and caused his downfall IMO). |

That wasn't Mourinho's plan - they were bought in against his wishes. His downfall was probably caused partly by his reluctance to play Shevchenko. Afterall, Shevchenko cost over £30m and is Abramovich's mate, so putting him on the bench was probably not seen as a good use of the investment. Avram Grant is due to take over, Grant being a close friend of Abramovich. I can see Roman packing Stamford Bridge with lots of yes men.... I wonder if the Chelsea bubble is about to burst? God knows how much they'll lose from Mourinho merchandise. |

The real issue is Chelsea isn't playing well actually they suck. 1-1 @ Home vs Rosenborg? |

Good, I knew it was coming just like I'm pretty sure Abramovich will get bored leave chelsea in disarray. The club will go bankrupt and end up like leeds but maybe worse. I mean leeds over spent and yes had a stint of near glory for a couple of years but nothing compared to chelsea. It will be the shinning example to my beloved Arsenal and why they shouldn't sell out. Hopefully they will just continue on there current path which looks bloody good from here [thumbup].
