Charge more, find a price that cuts down the work load a litlte or if the load stays the same you'll at least make a decent bit of cash which may turn you around when you see that you're able to toss a heck of a lot in the bank or something.
Then again, I'm someone that would work 20 hours a day for the money if I could. |

No problem LOL ![]() I barely suffer from headaches like this usually ... Only a couple of times a year at most, so I doubt it's serious ![]() ![]() I'm not the kind of person who goes to the doctor for "little things" so to speak, so I won't for this one either. Cheers to Dutchforce for the test, it resulted in "possible migraine" so it probably isn't. One of the syptoms was that the headache was "pounding" while mine never are |

I'll cut a long story short: I fix computers. People can call me any time any day and they do exactly that, small companies and families basically. Work is piling up every day and is getting worse by the second.
Working hours differ alot, but on a normal day I work some hours in the afternoon and some in the evening (also in the weekends) Yesterday for no particular reason I got a huge headache and got very sick, so I did something I never did before: Cancelled my appointments and turned off my telephone. 30 minutes later I felt better than ever. While before I could barely get out of bed, I felt happy turned on some music and had some kebap just because I was feeling like it. Went out with housem8s later that day, had a good time and woke up today. Of course my entire day is filled with appointments because I skipped some yesterday, but I didn't even really think about it. Yet when I sat down on my couch I got sick again, buried my head in the toilet and went to work afterwards. So for some reason it seems to be in my head, while I feel fine and not stressed at all. Some weird ****, hope you can explain ![]() |

Moved to General Discussion. To make things a little worse, i've never been abroad out of this country for two years now. I feel I need a cheap week away in Spain somewhere, but i've got no-one who would go and can't even afford it. ![]() |

Since you are always available, week days, evenings and weekends, you may want to organize your working hours a bit more. ( cut down working on strange times) |

Get a separate work number. Have that number available only Monday through Friday from 9am to 5pm to take phone calls to make appointments and what not. Then after 5pm, turn the ringer off. Make them leave a message and wait till tomorrow for them to get to make an appointment with you.
If its an emergency phone call on Thursday or Friday, then you do that work on weekends if you so choose. But really, I don't think that there really ever is an "Emergency" phone call with computers. As long as it doesn't involve a possible loss of someones life, then it isn't an emergency. Your a business just like any other. Make yours hours, and then not answer the phone after so and so time and stop working at so and so time just like every other business. You can still work till 9pm at night if you have appointments, but just make sure that phone is off at 5. |

No problem LOL A good site to read and do a quick self test, but as SnW meant earlier in this thread, for serious physical/mentally problems, visit the doctor. Here's the headache site I was talking about: http://www.hoofdpijntest.nl/ I suffer from tensionheadache, with some migraine effects, and I do get prescribed drugs for them. Sometimes I feel it a day or two before it really breaches through, other days I wake up with a terrible pain..etc.. etc.. |
