I bet these things have happened in the past, like in the 70's and 80's etc but no one has ever covered them. With the rise of the internet, however, news of the weird has become muc cheaper to publish, and much easier to access to the public.

Please we really don't need this kind of melodramatic clap trap. Yes it's a ****ed up tragic event but ****ed up tragic **** has been going on forever. This event is not a reflection of society or these times. Which I think is what Lord_P was saying.

I have seen the movie and if you take a good look at some of the kids out there today it may be exactly whear we are headed. They may not be total idiots like the people in the movie but they seem clueless as to how to make it in the world on their own. To many parents out there think all you got to do is feed-em and dress-em and thats it. If they are even that lucky.

It's bad, but at least there was some emotional strain involved. It's still not excusable by a long shot, but the worst things in this world are done with a clear mind and planned in advanced.
