Knocked down for the first time in his life, very wobbly only just made it through. On ITV now!

Couldn't live with Khan [thumbup]

Broke his nose and damaged his jaw, now thats gonna hurt in the morning.

Well he came back in the next round and knocked down the other guy, breaking his jaw in the process! The fight was stopped due to this, showed a lot of character.

Khan is now the new Commonwealth champion, but a better fighter would have finished him imo. Nonetheless he is learning and this was good for him.

Why have they gotta do it, in the interview after the fight Khan's asked something like, you were in real trouble there after the knock down and he replies no, no, no I wasn't, I was in control, BS. Khan was dancing around like he'd had 16 pints at a line dancing contest and hanging on for dear life, any fighter slightly better than his opponent would have finished him, I had to turn it off after that.

Why couldn't they admit the fact they got caught and play on the positives.

He hit me with a massive punch and it was close but it shows the durabilty I have to come straight back and do that sort of damage to him.

Would have sounded much better.

Sorry to have missed that. He might still be a bit on the inexperienced side, but he's learning.
