Default I got a few hours of sun the other day.
And my arms turned pink. Now they're starting to turn normal again but not a tan color, no, they turn back to the "so bright white they're visible from space" color I normally have. My friend who was with me and also turned pink that day is tan now.

I was at least hoping for my skin to become caucasian for once.

So it may take a some more sun time for your skin to get tanned...

When you always have a pale skin type, a few hours of sun doesn't do miracles.

I only have three shades of skin color...red, pink, or white. Sucks being a ginger.

You're way undercooked. Turn up the heat to 200 and toast for 15 minutes.

I prefer to be called white, as I am the opposite of black.

I don't tan. I go from pasty to crispy in 15 minutes flat. Damn Scandinavian genes

I'm "white" but next to "full-blooded" Finns I'm a bit more "creamy" in colour so I don't burn easy[thumbup]

I'm pale white with red hair. Put me in the sun for a while and I come back looking crispy. Then after my skin returns to "somewhat normal" I'm covered in freckles.

Herm, I tan a little durring the summer... but that's because I'm 1/2 hispanic. Thank god, because I've seen some of the nasty burns my other white friends can get [shocked] [no]

I knew someone from Finland who's skin was way darker than mine.

I asked her about it and she claimed the weather in Helsinki was way hotter than here in Newcastle... despite being further north
