I don't have any of the channels on my tv, that shows the Superbowl here in Denmark.

So is there anywhere on the internet that shows the superbowl??

Afaik you can go to nfl.com and pay for their NFL FieldPass thing, but yeah, you'll have to pay.

Try TVU Player, it's free but the picture quality is not that great but I watched the world cup games on it.

http://www.tvunetworks.com/downloads/index.htm

The game is on the CBS station.

I think I'll have to give TVU player it a try. I've used it, but didn't know CBS was broadcasting. I know they used to have ESPN, and I was guessing that ESPN would have it.

Game starts 10am AEDST.

Be interesting to see how big it is, because they say 90 Million Americans will sit on their ass to watch it.So 3.5 times the population of Australia.

Fortunatly for us if you're a fan you can still go down to the local store to get some snacks and it would actually be open and not shut because the store owner over there is glued to the TV.

Colts $1.40
Bears $3.10

I guess the Colts are faves.

Hehe, they have it on free tv, and since its the government controlled station its without a single ad (they show scenes from past games when the US tv shows their ads). [thumbup]

But the ads are quite funny! We don't get the US ads... just Aussie ones, but they have shown us the funny ads with the Aussie commentary blokes.

Thanks for all the replies [thumbup]

I saw the game, thogh it was middle of the night here in Denmark.

And as a Superbowl-dinner I made myself a gigant burger (with 700 grams of beef), some big frites and of course Budweiser [thumbup]

I took some pics of the dinner, so I will let you guys know when I have uploaded the pics.........If you guys wants to see them.

hahahah that f*ckin rocks man! Nice sounds like you had a good little setup. My ass was at work handling power outges, downed servers and mainframe issues. Go me. Terrible night tonight. Not only that, but our entire building lost power (thankfully our ups for the company i work for can hold up our 40 something servers in here...) and I pretty much went without heat for a good few hours. F*cking sucked. I missed the super bowl and the f*cking Colts won. Go figure, what a terrible night.

BTW, wtf... superbowl... denmark? psssh thougth you guys were all about the "football" not FOOTBALL...

Lucky though, I envy you and I wish I was eating a huge ass hamburger seeing as that its sub zero temps here and I didn't eat **** in the last 12 hours. Tonight sucks... it is 7:51am here and I will be leaving in another 10 min. But, I'll be going to get an omelet and man I can't wait. I'm starving.

Sorry to hear you had a bad day/night.

Yeah believe it or not, but here in Denmark NFL has gotten more and more fans over the last 7 years (due to a danish tv station showing NFL and the Superbowl every year)
We even have had American Football teams for about 18 years now.

But you're right on the soccer (or how it's spelled)....That kind of football has alot more fans over here. But the only sport I like to se on tv is NFL

Oh and BTW the burger was big enough for 2......I couldn't eat it all. Took me about 1-2 hours just to eat half of it

So how did you sleep after having that burger, lol? I cant eat fast food in the evening or at night, when Im going to bed a short time later. My stomach just cant handle that anymore, good proof that my teen years really are gone forever, heh.

Watched the game into the first half of the last quarter, then it got boring, man did the Bears offense suck! And in my opinion it wasnt all Grossmans fault, their offensive line sucked balls.

This is what happens when you have a salary cap. Everyone can win, and there are no quality superbowls anymore with the best of the best. Both teams just have two or three good players and one great. And many times not even that.

Well it wasn't exactly fast food it took some time to make the burger. I started mixing sundried tomatoes, spices etc into the beef, and about 5-6 hours later I started eating

I finished eating just before the Superbowl started, so I was still up for another 5 hours before I went to bed

The Bears started of so good, and then everything went wrong for them.
But man there were alot of turnovers.........And as they say - You can't win the game on turnovers.

Well LoL, if you call that game yesterday exciting, then you are easily excited. And the salary cap is bad for any sport. I just hope this will never enter the soccer leagues here in europe.

Why? It helps smaller market teams compete. Without the salary cap, teams can just buy the best players. With a salary cap, teams have to work together and find the best chemistry rather than just buying the best guys, sticking them out there and watching them win.

Without a salary cap you have a couple of teams accumulating the best players and have true quality on the field during the playoffs - with the favoured outsider team in the mix. I dont like leagues where just any team can win. Because teams have to watch their cap limit players move every year to a different team and its hard to keep a roster for like 5 years or so. Building a "core" of players is too hard for most teams, so you have too many new faces in your roster every year. I like it when a league has a couple of rich teams and many underdogs.

That being said I'm a Cowboys and Stars fan (both Dallas), so my fave teams are pretty rich. I guess as a Seahawks or Blue Jackets fan I would think differently, lol.
