Default Full screen Futuremark with Stylish for Firefox inside!!
Ok this is a beta version, kindly coded by rtk over at mozzillazine forums

http://userstyles.org/style/show/1473

You need firefox and stylish extension from the site. It needs a bit of tweaking, cause the private message section appears to be missing atm.

I removed the adblock code here, besides it is no different to using adblock

Paste over the code:

@namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml);

@-moz-document url-prefix(http://futuremark.com/forum/) {

/* expand width */
td:first-child[width="50%"], td:last-child[width="50%"],
td[width="967"] > a, td[width="967"] > a + br, /* top logo */
td[valign="bottom"], /* bottom logo and stuff */
td[style*="/layout/edge_"], img[src*="/layout/edge_"]
{display: none !important;}

td[width="967"] {
width: 100% !important;
min-width: 967px !important;
background: none !important;
}
td[width="967"] table[cellpadding="0"] {
margin: auto !important;
}

}

FM's girth is pretty unimpressive, the wider the better.

Ok, some more tweaking:

Use this code:

@namespace url(http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml);

@-moz-document url-prefix(http://futuremark.com/forum/) {

/* expand width */
td:first-child[width="50%"], td:last-child[width="50%"],
td[style*="/layout/edge_"], img[src*="/layout/edge_"]
{display: none !important;}

td[width="967"] {
width: 100% !important;
min-width: 967px !important;
background: none !important;
}
td[width="967"] table[cellpadding="0"] {
margin: auto !important;
}

} Then use adblock NOT to block ad's, but rather two background images, so it dont look so crappy

....which proves our point exactly. If we left the forums unlocked, it would look complete and utter **** with the rest of the layout [thumbdown]

Thats more to do with how the site is coded

Besides with a bit of tweaking I WILL prove you guys wrong All it needs atm is the logo centered, plus the subforum fix [yes]

Blimey, I wonder why people even bother with widescreen when they dont make use of the additional space. I couldnt imagine having a forum open to full screen on my LCD with its native resolution of 2560x1600

Still, I guess there are those who want it....

Thats what we all think. People who get higher resolution monitors, usually use the space properly, not to have 1 page maximised

You wont, dont you worry

LOL after all thise tweaking, all you've done is managed to take the bars of background on the left and right, and replaced them with an off white centre. What a waste of time. For this to be of any benefit, you'd need them to change the rules on image sizes etc...

Seeing as they stay quite strict on this, I don't see the point in bothering. Oh and I have a 20" widescreen 1680x1050, in dual display. Maximise is very much not needed for the web. Maximise and Web is only for porn.
