Hum, well this is a real geek moment but today I had to start work on a SAN, been studing fabrics now for the past fews months at work, and finally some SAN work came in. Had to install a 4,500GB array, all from SUN with 4Gbps fibre optics/switches. While the capacity its self isn't all that impressive, it came in the form of 64 disks and totals roughly £100,000 worth of kit. Can't wait to throw some bechmarks are this badboy, espically when it's all raided up!



Cabling need's some work, but right now we are only concerned with getting it all up and working, as it's my first attempt.

Just another day at work, sold a £559 laptop and an £830 computer system then went straight to the gym to do my Muay Thai for an hour and a half then play Company Of Heroes with everyone from work.

Well, my day was wasted.... I was in good time to catch the train to uni. Brought my ticket, and waited on the platfrom...

THE TRAIN BLAH BLA IS NOW RUNNING 30 MINS LATE

Great! So i sat it out, and waited the 30 mins....which turned out to 1 hour 30 mins!

If i was to catch the train, 45 min ride, and spend 15 mins in uni! POINTLESS!

I went out of the station £8.40 less, and in a foul mood!

And now, KSIMM has made me pre-order 2 Wii games!!!! An expencive day!

Woke up,
Checked if everythings o.k (fed the pet´s, etc), cleaned up the kitchen and then went shopping with my lady & kid. I ended up buying 2 Hot Sauces (that aren´t hot at all *grrrr*) and a new carpet/rug for the living room !
On a sidenote, the two women/salespeople (1 was ~35 and the other ~50) were so pissed of that they almost started yelling eachother and **** ! (they were mobbing eachother badly) After that i went and purchased a few groceries.
Later at home, made dinner (spinach+3 cheeses Caneloni´s) they tasted great. (pat´s back )
Cleaned the kitchen again.
Then watched out for the little guy a while so my chick could have some me time.
Brought both to bed and have been doing some graphic work for a friend since.
Guess i´ll play a hour or two of WoW now,...

All in all a boring free day.

Woke up about 9. Checked a few sites. Watched the film Sukeban Deka. Bit cheesy but decent enough Went to work at 12. We took in two deliveries today, even though we are already overloaded with stock. We have so much its becoming a serious fire/safety issue. Several of us there are seriously letting safety inspectors how bad it is... There would be quite serious consequences though

5:30PM - Went to work
9PM - Got home from work, had dinner
Now - Doing nothing but surfing FM. Will be going to bed real soon

Now sitting listening to music about to go to sleep to do another crap day of crap uni.

Opened medicine cabinet grab 2 advil, go for gatorade
Brush teeth
Kiss wife and say good morning. She leaves for work after taking beautiful daughter to day care.

Make fried egg sandwich
Turn on PC to see whats up @FM, get some 's
Turn on 360 for some TDU mileage
Do some laundry

Got up at 4am, showered and did all that good stuff.
Worked 12 hours.
Walked home for my health.
Showered, put on one of hubbies T's and sat down at the pc.
Home alone..the big guy is at work til 10pm or so.
Talked on the phone to my daughter, my son, both grand daughters, my sister and brother....
Bought some dishes off of amazon.
Made a cup of tea and sat on my front porch enjoying the silence and total lack of traffic. They are doing construction at the intersection by my house and shut the whole road down. I could get spoiled to the peace and quiet.

I just ran all my anti-everything bad on the net stuff and am getting ready to heat up some leftover chinese food when my man gets home..

Yeah..I am boring.
