Default Sad day for me guys.
I lost my best friend. He died in my arms today...

Been a rough day for me losing a long time best friend.

I got him when I was 13... Now pushing 25.

I love you Early! You are in my heart forever!

Childhood pets are the roughest to part with. I feel for you. I've had to let go of 5 of them.

2 Dogs.
1 Cat.
2 Rats.

All of them were members of my family.

Thank you guys, It has been a crazy, mixed bag emotion day.

He is in a much better place now! Playing with all his buddies who have since passed on!

I am blessed to have him go in the place he felt the most peace, in my arms and near the river.

Sorry to here that AT.. It's always a hard thing to deal with for sure. I went though it a few years ago when my buddy Peanut passed on. He made it to a ripe old age of 16..

Beautiful Dog... Sorry for your loss AT.

I felt the same way when I had to say good bye to my Siberian Husky "Chuck"

I can totally relate. I was holding Max my labrador, when the vet came to the house to put him down. he was 13. Couldn't walk any more and didn't eat. I felt like **** after.....

Sorry for your loss.

That's the worst thing about owning a pet, you know that one day you will have to say goodbye.

That sucks, sorry for your loss.

It sounds like you gave him a good life and a good friend throughout his life though.

Sorry for your loss, I know how it feels. All the pets we have are family members, and it really hurts when you lose one. Especially a pet that you first had as a child.

Sorry about that. Dogs are always missed when they go. I've had 2 go at 12 years old. Eventually I always look forward to getting another. Mines having puppies next week.

So sorry AT, I cant imagine how I would feel if my pup, Jackson, left this world, in my arms. I would have to fill the void with a rescue pet ASAP.

Thank you guys for the love.

Woke up this morning thinking I had to go let him out, feed him...etc. Was weird not seeing him.

But this is life... I think I have been preparing myself the last couple weeks for this. I am happy he is running free now!

Heads up bud, its an emptyness you feel.

You may feel good that the dog has have had a wonderful life. He is happy he had a good home. He is happy he died in his honor.

Youre a guy I feel for too. One of the sanes around here. Bless you man.
