Hi
I'm sure this has been discussed elsewhere so apologies if I am duplicating a thread. I am in the process of building a 1,400t refrigerated potato cold-store. The ridgeline runs East-West meaning that one aspect of the roof faces due south. The dimensions of this aspect are approximately 28metres long by 13metres deep. I am struggling to find much information online about the economics of installing panels on this roof. I understand FIT's have gone but would installing panels still stack up economically? We are maincrop growers meaning that our coldstore will really only be running October-end of May. We have little demand for power outside of this time apart from drying/cooling grain with an on-floor system and 50hp Typhoon fan. Any pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated. How much would such a installation cost? How much would it return or save us? Any ball park figures would be much appreciated before I investigate it properly. Many thanks. |

The benefits of using solar energy are obvious. The ecological purity of the sun's energy is the possibility of unlimited use. According to experts, the converted solar energy will be available for several billion years—no emissions, such as greenhouse gases, which is important for agriculture and ecology. When I installed solar panels at home, I contacted Energy Australia, and they calculated the installation cost and how profitable it was for me before I made a final decision. I think you can ask for similar calculations before signing a contract with the company to decide your benefits.

I want to share some amazing news from Minnesota. The installation of smart solar panels will soon begin. This is a revolutionary solution in the world of energy and with the support of the government, it is becoming available to everyone. Now everyone can control their electricity consumption and even sell excess energy. This is not only environmentally friendly but also good for your finances. Utilizing solar panels on your shed's south-facing roof could prove economically beneficial. Despite FITs no longer being available, solar installations still offer substantial savings on energy bills and potential revenue from surplus energy generation. Considering your maincrop schedule, the cold store's operation duration aligns well with solar energy production.
Engaging solar panel installers ireland can provide detailed estimates and insights tailored to your setup and energy requirements. They can discuss installation costs, potential savings, and return on investment, giving you a clearer picture before proceeding. |
