That's fair enough. Minimal is not nothing.

Something tells me he has lots of ammo left for further foot shooting.

When is his VP pick due?
McCain didn't make his pick til a few days before the convention. The convention is August 27, this year.

The British press had the knives out for Romney before he even got there, judging by the completely fabricated "anglo-saxon" story.
Please provide a link to this being 'completely fabricated', from all accounts I've seen it was a comment made by an unnamed advisor. Romney's response was..

"I'm generally not enthusiastic about adopting the comments made by people who are unnamed. I have a lot of advisers," he told Williams. "Actually we've gone from calling the rope line where I shake hands every day to the advice line. Because you have a lot of people that offer advice. So I'm not sure who this person is."
Does that sound like he's saying it was a complete fabrication?

He promised the Israelis a free hand in dealing with the Iranians. No options off the table. I wonder if he realizes that he gave them permission to launch a nuclear strike?
Yeah, I kinda think that's worse than what he said about the Olympics in the UK...

Will he have the common sense to avoid mentioning that as a Mormon he considers himself to be Jewish too?
Descended from Abraham through Jacob, but not necessarily through Judah. I don't think Judah is one of the tribes used in patriarchal blessings, but could be wrong about that. Ephraim is usually the one.

I think it is safe to say that Israel has a history of going for the 'nuclear option' when it comes to international diplomacy, short of actually using nukes themselves...

Oh, and Mitt just received 1 million dollars from donors at an Israeli fund raiser. Apparently he raised $2 million in Great Britain.

I watched the women's rowing event earlier and the starting buzzer broke causing two restarts. It took them several minutes to produce a flag necessary to start the race Mitt was right, they weren't ready

I think I like "Nowhere Man" best.

"Mitt the Twit" is a close second.

What's wrong with that? Russia does it to us all the time. He's correctly identifying who is our friend and who is not, something Obama is incapable of. Poland = friend, Russia = not friend.

He didn't tell the Polish press anything.

By the way, the Polish president essentially endorsed Mitt Romney, and the Poles and Israelis both hate Obama. So much for "ostracizing" the world.

Sorry, his press aide did.

http://www.thestar.com/news/world/ar...ives-in-poland

Mitt Romney, wrapping up a six-day international trip overshadowed by criticism of his remarks on the Olympics and the Middle East, will try to change the subject today with a foreign-policy speech in Warsaw and meetings with Polish leaders including President Bronislaw Komorowski.

The Republican presidential candidate, who has largely avoided the media during the three-country trip, refused to publicly discuss the criticism today, with aides shutting down questions shouted by journalists as Romney visited a military memorial in Warsaw this morning.

“Shove it,” press aide Rick Gorka told a reporter.

It was a low level aide.
Err...low level aide?

Come on, HC.

He also said "Kiss my ass". He's really perpetuating the boorish ass American stereotype.
