Very Important Poll (which you may not wish to view at work)

I answered one, because I felt myself suppressing the faintest little urge to vomit before I'd even scrolled down to see all of two. The dude totally looks like he's rubbing one out. Ugh. You probably should have had five poll options, with "one, and I'm gay," "one, and I'm straight," "two, and I'm gay," etc. That way you wouldn't have folks like me queering (har!) the results. I'm guessing MrFun favored one, given your oft-expressed distaste for facial hair?

art_fan_12 05-05-2012 04:49 AM

I completely agree with Elok.

VYholden 05-05-2012 04:54 AM

In order to be fair, I pictured the contestant 2 wearing the same clothes as contestant 1.

Under those circumstances, contestant 2 appears to be a total douche.

Invalid poll.

So far nobody has voted with Asher.

http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...smilies/hm.gif #1 are comparable with well educated brainy woman that cares about her body without overdoing it; #2 are comparable with a braindead blondine bimbo with four liters of plastic in each boob.

Certainly a difficult choice.
It's a question of which one is better to roll in the hay with, not to write memoirs with. http://www.discussworldissues.com/im...ons/icon14.gif

Settle a bet here between MrFun and myself.
Um, you challenged me to this contest, but there is no bet.

You should've picked a beardless Clooney, not some manwhore with ridiculous muscles and guido tan.

Oh crap, I just got fired for being gay http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/frown.gif And also for working on Saturday http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/frown.gif http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/frown.gif http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/frown.gif

I'd say it's awash - the beard has made Mel Gibson go insane, but it's also made Pierce Brosnan so damned happy

Axxflcaj 05-05-2012 10:37 PM

Tom Selleck is sexy, with or without facial hair.

StethyEntinic 05-05-2012 11:01 PM

Holy ****, pierce brosnan is way better without facial hair.
Well he does have a wild-man look in that picture. Don't know how he'd look with more kempt facial hair or stubble.

Scukonahuy 05-06-2012 01:31 AM

Here's a better version with clean-shaven, stubble/light hair, beards using the same persons. This is how this poll should have been done:

As I said, this poll doubles as a test to see who has daddy issues. Anyone who votes for a geriatric father figure as more sexually attractive than a physically fit 20 year old has daddy issues. http://www.discussworldissues.com/im...ons/icon14.gif
Not my fault you're closed minded when it comes to older men and their attractiveness. I'm proud to have so-called daddy "issues." http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/smile.gif

Heterosexual males generally do not feel themselves to be at their peak at ~20.

JM
I thought the physical peak is closer to age 30. Men gain a lot of strength over their 20's and are a lot stronger at 30 than they are at 20.

That's why the Marine Corps Combat Fitness Test has a portion where you press an ammo can for reps; the 27-39 demographic have to press it 97 times for a max score, whereas 17-26 only need 91 reps. The difference is because it is assumed usually very much correctly that guys in their 30's are stronger than guys in their early 20's.

If I recall, from studies of combat pilots, males reach peak reaction time and g-force resilience at 26-27 or so, though the best fighter pilots are a few years old due to experience.
Athletics, too:

http://www.springerlink.com/content/.../fulltext.html

In running, the performance peaks at 25.99 ± 2.13 on average and the gathered peaks in all events range from 23.29 years old (10,000 m M) to 31.61 years old (Marathon M) Although part of the reason for this may be the culmination of X years of training necessary to reach their physical peak. I don't know that this is necessarily because 26 is the perfect age for track and field because of a biological reason or if it's because it marks, most likely, a little over a decade of serious training in the sport.
