So the real question is if you get a hole-in-one and no one is there to see it, does it make a sound?

I was playing at a little course by my in-laws house and there was a short par 4, measuring about 260 to the pin. I took my 3 wood out and... well the rest is history! I saw it go in, but I couldn't believe my eyes. It wasn't until I walked up and pulled it out of the cup that it actually sank in. Holy Moly!!!
