Yeah that casting director was very hypocritical. She was totally against Gulager casting his family (which I can't blame her for), but then she went behind everyone's back to cast her friend. Gulager seems to have things planned out in a very complex and unique way, but like you said, either he can't come right out and tell people what he wants, no one listens to him, or they just don't have enough time to do it.
