National Treasure II: The Book of Secrets (also called National Treasure 2: Book of Secrets) is a 2007 sequel to the 2004 film National Treasure. It will be directed by Jon Turteltaub and written primarily by Gregory Poirier. As of January 27, 2006, several producers have been listed, including Jerry Bruckheimer, Oren Aviv, Chad Oman, and Charles Segars.

It was stated in the first film's commentary that there were no plans for a sequel, but, due to the first film's impressive box-office performance, an earning of $347.5 million worldwide, a sequel was given the go-ahead in 2005.

According to Jerry Bruckheimer, filming began on January 1, 2007, and the film will be released on December 21, 2007. Here's IMDB link

I really enjoyed the first film, it was just a very well done, entertaining pop corn movie, so i definitely have high hopes for this one as well.
