I was talking with one of my friends in class the other day, and we end up talking about which Bond movie was the best, and also who was the best Bond.
I did this thread just to see your opinions about this topic... My favorite Bond has always been Bronsan. I mean Sean Connery and Roger Moore were good but I think Bronsan was the best. Daniel Craig was the worst of them all in my opinion. Favorite Bond films: Goldeneye [All Time Favorite] The World Is Not Enough Die Another Day |

1. Golendeye, I felt this film had everything from action to story, it was just perfect.
2. From Russia With Love 3. Casino Royale, one of the best Bond films since Goldeneye Pretty much everything that followed after Goldeneye was pure shit. The stories always felt the same, he has sex with a girl, kills 100 bad guys and etc. They never tried to expand on the story and Pierce Brosnan never really did anything new in the films to try and make the character more interesting or anything. He was a good Bond I'll give him that, but he got boring quickly. Maybe the poor stories behind the films is what made me find him boring. As for Daniel Craig this man is the most underrated actor out there, he did a phenomenal job as Bond and brought the role back to life. I can't wait to see more Bond films with Craig cause I'm sure he will be one of the best Bond's since Connery and Roger Moore. If you want to see Daniel Craig shine in an underrated and really good movie check out Layer Cake. |

1st: Goldeneye
Still my favourite, and I still think Brosnan is one of my favourite Bonds. If he'd have had better stories to work with and less gimmicks forced upon the films he might even have been seen as being equal with Connery. 2nd: Casino Royale (2006) Bond was actually a believable secret agent in this one. I believed he could kill people, I believed the whole character a little more. And what's more, the major threat in the film was one of the most believable of any Bond. He wasn't saving the world, just preventing a threat. 3rd: Goldfinger By far the best of the old Bond movies in my estimation. Great characters, a great Bond, a great villain, and a good story to go alongside the action. Prior to Casino Royale last year another older Bond movie would have been in 3rd, probably, with Goldfinger in second. As for Bonds, I think Brosnan is probably my favourite Bond, but Daniel Craig could usurp him if another movie of Royale's quality is made. |
