i wasnt to happy about some of these results. i liked Napolean Dynamite, but movie of the year it was not. Ben Stiller SHOULD NOT have won best villian..but it helps when ur so close to MTV. and DeCaprio for best male preformence over Foxx for Ray..for shame. i also dont agree with Duston Hoffmen for best comedic...especially when Meet te Fockers wasn't good at all...oh well..pretty much what you expect from MTV.

seemed like everytime i fliped the channel over to the show it was Lindsay Lohan or someone else from the movie Mean Girls, or that dude from Napoleon Dynamite acceptin an award...Kinda pissed me off, definitely dont think Napoleon deserved movie of the year, but since every moron in this country jumped on the bandwagon i can understand why it won, but its a damn shame when a brilliant movie like Kill Bill, or hell any of the other nominees walk away with nothing....would've been 10x better if NIN hadnt of backed out of the show, they were the only reason i was lookin forward to actually watchin it.

I didn't watch it because I read the results early and couldn't believe some of the crap that was given an award. Ben Stiller wins best villian?! He just re-hashed his old role from that movie Heavyweights. Dodgeball was an average movie at best. I think I disagree with every single one on there except best fight.

Ummm it's voted by fans of mtv. not movie critics UB . that's what makes the mtv movie awards great is that the fan's have a voice and that it's not like every other award show were criticially acclaimed actors win awards. But for the record the only award I would have completely agreed with to the point i'd agrue it with you guys was the mcadams and gosling kiss from the notebook but then again two canadians kissing is mark out moment when we beat out americans who are supposably the most sexual nation on earth

I'd rather leave it up to the people who know a good film when they see it. The majority of the MTV viewers couldn't recognize a good film to save their lives.
