As salaam alaikum wa rahmatullah,

Is it permissible to say that Prophets of Allah can commit mistakes? Or that they can be wrong? If not, how do we explain verse 121 in Surah Ta Ha where Allah ('azza wa jal) says, 'And Adam disobeyed his Lord and erred.'.

What is the correct stance and Adab regarding this matter? Also, is there a difference in this regard between the Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu 'alahi wa sallam) and other Prophets of Allah?

Mistakes yes, sin no. Mistakes are things done wrongly with the intetion of pleasing Allah or not knowing that it is wrong. People who are on a higher level in their relationship with Allah are sometimes reprimanded for tehir small mistakes while people who are distant are allowed to do big sins before they are caught.
