Assalam o alykom warahmatullahi wabarakatuh!

We had a cource if three days in our school condducted by some women of Al noor foundation adn indeed some of the things which she said were... not fine!!! because i compared them with one of Maulana Taqi Usmani's student

so i want to know whether al noor foundation os okay or not ( i am a hunfi) i want to know about alnoor and also nighat hashmi... please tell me.. i also want to know her Sanat her teachers.. and it would be liked if you would tell me about some of your own knowlegde like from some scholar or what does your sheikh says about alnoor

The noor cultural centre in Toronto is definitely not a good place - it is full of fitna and Muslims should definitely stay away from it.

Well having looked at their respective websites The name of both their father is Abdur Reman hashmi, unless it is strange conincidence I presume they are sisters.

aoa,

there is nothing wrong with following farhat hashmi or her sister (presumably) nighat hashmi if one is ahle hadith. the main problem is when their students and their adherents claim their way is the 'only' islam and we muqallids are incorrect. they do not understand the difference of opinion in islam which is valid and differences which are not.
there will be no antagonism if they adopt the policy of live and let live. im sure ahnaf wont bother with them because ahnaf believe in difference of opinion.

in light of this for a hanafi it shd be discouraged to be students of these academies and they should find academies where hanafi fiqh is taught.Allahualam

thats incorrect. ghair muqallid means someone who rejects taqlid of the four schools. may apply also to those who dont do taqleed of one school. Allahualam
