So conclusion: as long as we know its not wajib or sunnah and were not propagating it, its not bid'a to do sth the Prophet SAW didn't do in his 'ibadah for the sake of deepening our connection with Allah SWT.

Khair insha Allah. hopefully this is the correct opinion.
