![]() ![]() I had a question bros and sis's, which I can't seem to find a clear answer to (though to be honest I haven't put enough effort into it either). We all know well and clear that Fajr time is one of the times when one should not make any other salat besides Fajr. My question is, does that forbidden time start when it is Fajr time on the clock? (according to any time-table we may be following), OR, can one pray other salat such as nawafil/Witr until a few minutes before Fajr jamaat, then make the Sunnahs and pray in congregation. In other words, let's say Fajr time starts at 5:45 AM where I am, however congregation in the masjid is not until 6:30AM. Should I make sure that I am completely FINISHED praying Tahajjud & then Witr in the end before the clock hits 5:45 AM, or can I pray Tahajjud and then Witr until close to 6:30 AM, then pray Fajr salat in congregation. Or, if I was not praying in congregation, could I keep praying Tahajjud until after 5:45 AM, then pray Witr, then Salat-ul-Fajr, keeping in mind that we are now well past the actual start time of Fajr. Also, any evidence from Quran and/or Hadith would be appreciated as well in regards to this. ![]() ![]() |
