Default First of the 10 blessed days of Dhul Hijjah tomorrow (Friday the 28th of October)
It has been confirmed that Dhul Hijjah will begin tomorrow (on Friday the 28th of October) in the Uk. So the first of the 9 fasts will begin tomorrow on Friday the 29th of October. The day of Arafaat will be on Saturday the 5th of November. So Eid ul Adha should be on Sunday the 6th of November inshallah.

These 10 days are the BEST of days!

Rasulullah (Sallahu Alaihi Wassalam) said: “On no days is the worship of Allah desired more than in the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah. The fast of each of these days is equal to the fast of a whole year, and the ibaadat (worship) of each of these nights is equal to the ibaadat of laylatul qadr.” (Tirmidhi and Ibn Maajah)

So Islamically Dhul Hijjah began after Maghrib today(Thursday the 27th of October). Therefore let us increase ourselves in worship, dhikr, recitation of Qur'an, dua, contemplation and giving in charity, and let us not miss out on potentially gaining immense rewards in the next 10 days, for we will beg our own mothers for just one good deed on the day of judgement and they will turn us away like we are nobodys.

That is because on thet day EVERY single person will be in great need. Such is the harsh reality on that day. So we need every good deed we can get and so this is our perfect opportunity to now redeem ourselves and get closer to Allah and please him as much as we can before our soul is taken - which can be at ANY second!

In order to maximize these blessed 10 days please refer to the following thread:

10 ways to Maximise the First Ten Days of Dhul Hijjah

May Allah enable us to make the best of these next 10 days in order that we can please him and be successful in this world and the next. Ameen
