Default Use of Word Inshallah
Assalamalikum, One of my freind posted a facebook status regarding a movie "The costliest movie ever made in da Indian film industry gonna rock...Insha Allah..."

Is it permissible and appropriate to use Inshallah in this place ??

I personally feel, its not.

Assalamalikum

- May Allah Ta'ala give us all guidance. How can you mention His Blessed Name with something so reprehensible? This indian movie will have a whole kaleidoscope of haraam factors involved in it.

It would not be appropriate to use Insha'Allah when you are about to do something evil e.g. I am going to drink alcohol tomorrow insha.......!!

More knowledgeable brothers/sisters would be better positioned to give a shar'i judgement on this. The above is my personal view.

Wallahu a'alam

There is a ruling that if one says "Bismillah" before gulping intoxicants, he becomes a murtad - for making the haraam turn 'halaal.' So its definitely inappropriate but it could be a whole lot more.

Now I am not doing eTakfir, but the point remains true, wallahu 'alam.

Making haram halal is shirk. Is it the same as becoming murtad?

Salam Aleykum,

"Insha-Allah" means if Allah wills it. Linguistically this is correct, This "movie" can only turn the way he wants it to if Allah allows it however he used the name of Allah jokingly and that is not recommended, including the name of Allah in a joke or to make people laugh is not a good thing.
