JazakAllah.

Very interesting also considering that the British were extending their rule during the same period amongst other powers of the time. The Ottomans did have a vast ownership

brother, we need to have only one true caliphate that follow the method of the prophethood. So the map needs to be modified to include all the Muslims land .

Salam Aleykum,

Yes but you need to figure out if this was at the beginning of their Rule or at the end of their Rule.

btw you can see that al-Ahwaz was not a part of "Iran".

And the east and west Azerbaijan and Ardabil provinces too.

That's the map in b/w 1600-1800 A.D. I don't know the exact dates.

wiki"The Kings of Morocco still label themselves with the title Amir al-Mu'minin for the Moroccans, but lay no claim to the Caliphate."

See Moroc has been so far out that they got away with doing thier own thing unimpeded, to this day. lol, still wanna visit. Was reading on caliphate/khilapha - lets get one going.

I wonder if it would be possible to model a Khilafat online. elected shura, NO DYNASTIES PLEASE for the love of Allah swt, where each member plays a role i suppose from the random meak and helpless (newbs). All the way up to the Kaliph. Might be a successful dawah even if it gets a few muslims to understand how modern our system really was, and how applicable to today it really is, contrary to popular media's blatant pounding of the opposite.
