Forget about who asked the question, anyone answer it.i think intermingling of sex would be the main reason...

Seems like everyone is afraid to answer

My simple question is based on mixed weddings being haram. I want to ask, If mixed weddings are haram because of intermingling of genders, then why isn't it haram to go to restaurants where intermingling of genders also happen?

Yes the interminglnig of sexes is haraam. The thing you are trying to avoid with marriage is Zina. However the intermingling of the sexes puts Zina into the marriage.

It's an obvious answer, nothing to be afraid about answering .Both is not permissible where intermingling and fitnah is present .

A sensible person who has an ounce of taqwa would think twice about taking part or going to such places....... If you see or know people doing that well maybe they need to be educated more and are ignorant about it .

Moulana Taliban

that is a very good question. In fact this can all be avoided if women were to stay inside their homes and be dutiful to their husbands.

ml taliban whats the point? if one knows something is haraam he/she must not do it even if the whole worlds ulama (including ml taliban) is doing it. its very simple.

Exactly! we should access ourselves are we doing it ? are we taking part in such ? if not when we see others ( Ulema or non ) we should make dua for them and always have a good thought about them. Whats that saying again we make ... 70 excuses for our Muslims brother/ sister if we see or hear them doing a wrong action. We shouldn't be quick to judge others.

So when 'Ulama go for site seeing and tourism it becomes Hujjah and Halal. But when they go to restaurants it doesn't become halal.

Why?!?!?!

Moulana Taliban the Ulama who fall under this category are the Ulama-e-Soo. They are put in position by the west. They have no taqwa and their hearts are filled to the brim with the desire for this world.

Ulemah or non ulemah go for sightseeing in a non fitnah place, is that haram? You are more knowledgeable to answer

Ulemah or non ulemah go to a restaurant that have separate facilities for families, or they go in just to buy food . Or they go at a time where they are not many people around or fitnahs present... is that haram ? You are more knowledgeable to answer

The point is intermingling and fitnah should be avoided, regardless of if the person is Ulemah or non ulemah.
